Consumables
HPS systems are specifically designed to be low maintenance, but, like everything in life, they need some upkeep. HPS pigging systems will require the occasional purchase of consumable items, such as pigs and valve seal kits. With each HPS pigging system you will be given a comprehensive spares list that outlines each piece of equipment as well as recommended stock holding levels.
We recommend that you keep a variety of spare parts in stock to facilitate quick repairs and replacements and avoid prolonged downtime. Most spare parts are kept in stock at the HPS UK headquarters, and we will always endeavour to dispatch your order on the same day.
Keeping your production downtime to a minimum is of the utmost importance to us, so making sure that you have what you need when you need it is a key part of our client care ethos.

Planned Preventative Maintenance Programmes

Pigging System Health Check
To make sure that you’re getting the most out of your HPS pigging system, we offer a free health check 12 months after commissioning is completed, dependent on plant location and engineer availability.
This involves one of our expert engineers visiting your site on a date scheduled to suit you. They will walk existing lines, review configuration, and examine the equipment and spare parts. They will also provide suggestions for improvements and evaluate training needs for your team.
Training
Correct training in how to use an HPS pigging system is essential to the effective performance of your system.
If you’re a new HPS customer, or deploying a new HPS solution, we’ll provide you and your team with all the training you need when we commission your new system.
We also offer refresher training, as well as training for new staff. We recommend that system operators attend a refresher training course every 12-18 months. By using HPS to deliver training, you can be assured that you’ll receive best practice and fully comprehensive instruction from experienced engineers.
